What Is There to Do in and Around Florence?
Florence deserves at least two full days, from the Uffizi and Medici Chapels to crossing the Ponte Vecchio at dawn. How to Get to Florence
You can get to Florence via Florence Peretola Airport (FLR) or Pisa International Airport (PSA). Pisa’s airport is around 80 kilometres from Florence and well served by direct flights from the UK and European cities, from here you can take a train or car to your villa. Florence Peretola Airport (FLR) is smaller but closer to the city, with a growing number of European and local routes. By train, Florence is around 90 minutes from Rome and connected by high-speed services to Milan, Bologna and Venice. We recommend hiring a car for most villa stays to the south or north of the city, all of which can be organised by our Villa Specialists.
