We loved Il Soglio and would recommend it for a stay without reservations. It fit our family group like a glove. The pool was a godsend. The kitchen gave everybody space to prepare meals and snacks and the outdoor dining area with its views down the valley was spectacular. Would we return? Yes, the amenities at the villa were perfect for our needs, the location was a good reflection of countryside living in Tuscany and it was a good base for day trips such as travelling into Florence.

Our time at Il Soglio was amazing! The house and property there are stunning! Every detail so meticulous. The woman who made us dinner, did our cooking class and made breakfast for us was truly a gem! The housekeeper was also very kind. Il Soglio was really the house of my Tuscan dreams! I will gladly highly recommend it and The Thinking Traveller to all of my friends.
