How to Get to the Aeolian Islands
You can get to the Aeolian Islands by ferry or hydrofoil from Milazzo on Sicily's north coast, which is around 45 minutes from Catania airport by car. Seasonal fast ferries also run from Naples, Palermo and Messina. Lipari is the main hub, with onward connections to the other islands.
