Disclaimers
Driving Licence Requirements:
- All drivers must hold a valid driving licence.
- If you do not hold a UK or EU licence, you may be required by local authorities to obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP). This is typically straightforward to arrange—contact the authority that issued your licence to request the relevant application form.
Insurance and Fuel Coverage:
- When collecting your car, the rental company may require a debit or credit card to pre-authorise a fuel deposit of approximately €150. This amount is typically released within 15 days of returning the vehicle.
- Price includes: Collision Damage Cover (CDW), Super Cover (SCDW), and Theft Protection (TP).
- Theft Protection covers the vehicle itself but does not include personal belongings left inside.
Responsibility and Disputes:
- The Thinking Traveller acts as an introducer to car hire companies and cannot mediate or negotiate on your behalf in the event of any damage, disputes, or disagreements with the rental provider.
We strongly recommend reading the full terms and conditions of your car hire agreement upon booking and prior to collecting your vehicle.

If you have secured a booking with us, you can arrange your desired experiences via your Account or by contacting your dedicated Villa Specialist.
