How do I get to the Saronic Islands from the mainland?

You can get to the Saronic Islands via Athens International Airport (ATH), which is well served by year-round international and domestic flights. From Athens, regular ferries and hydrofoils connect Piraeus with Hydra, Spetses, Poros and Aegina, making island-hopping wonderfully straightforward. For a more relaxed arrival, private boat transfers and helicopter transfers can also be arranged, whereby you can get to Hydra from Athens in as little as 15 minutes by helicopter. Once there, you can explore neighbouring islands with ease thanks to excellent ferry connections across the Saronic Gulf.
