Bedroom 7 is accessed externally and also has two divans which may become single beds on request (and for a small extra charge) bringing the total occupancy up to 16.

NB: A double-twin bedroom has two single beds that can either be joined together to create a double bed or left separate as two single beds.

Reduced Occupancy

During the shoulder seasons, Villa Specchia has reduced prices for groups that don’t need to use all the bedrooms. The bedrooms not required will be closed, but the rest of villa, its amenities and its grounds will remain at the complete disposal of guests. Please see further detail below:

For reduced occupancy bookings for 6 bedrooms sleeping 12: rooms 1-6 will be prepared. For reduced occupancy bookings for 5 bedrooms sleeping 10: rooms 1, 2, 3, 4 and your choice of 5 or 6.

Inside

accommodation at Villa Specchia is all on one floor with the exception of one of the bedrooms.

The main entrance leads in to a very large sitting room with three separate sitting areas. To the right, the dining room leads through to a wonderful covered terrace with views of the garden and the pool.

On the opposite side of the living area are two double bedrooms, one with an -suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower attachment, the other with an en-suite shower room.

Back near the front door is a double-twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and a staircase leading to the first floor, which is home to another double-twin bedroom, also with en-suite shower room.

Beyond the living room is the large kitchen, the laundry room and the fifth and sixth bedrooms, a double and a double-twin sharing a Jack and Jill shower room. The double-twin also has French windows accessing the courtyard.

The last bedroom, a double with en-suite shower room, is situated across a courtyard from the kitchen and accessed externally. Thanks to the presence of a sofa bed, this bedroom may also be used as a twin.

Outside

Villa Specchia is situated in 25 hectares (62 Acres) of private walled gardens, and is perfectly secure and peaceful.

Guests will be sure to spend much of their time between the wonderful covered and furnished patio and the green lawns surrounding the large pool. The pool furnishings are naturally of the highest quality. The internal courtyard of the Masseria traps the sun beautifully on a spring morning and the extensive gardens invite leisurely strolls, or simply long reading sessions in the shade of a tree.

You may also wish to know that the pool has a single depth of 1.6m.

This property is surrounded by countryside, some of which is unfenced and may include drops or steep slopes. We therefore recommend that younger children are supervised by an adult when exploring the grounds.

Please note that there is a pond in the grounds that is not fenced.

Although this property is located within walking distance of a few shops and traditional restaurants, we strongly recommend that you hire a car.
