Flights, transfers and travel information
The closest airport to Spetses is Athens International Airport on the mainland. From there, you can take a 2-hour boat to Spetses. Alternatively, we can organize a land transfer of 2.5 hours from Athens to Kosta followed by a 10-minute sea taxi, a 20-minute helicopter, or a private boat transfer from Anavyssos to the island, 2 hours.

The Saronic Islands do not have their own airports, but their close proximity to the mainland makes travel straightforward. Athens International Airport (ATH) – Eleftherios Venizelos is the closest airport to Spetses, welcoming both domestic and international flights.

Ferries and Hydrofoils
Once you reach Kosta, you will need to take a short 10-minute ferry from Spetses.

Car-free island
Spetses is a car-free island (apart from a few taxis, which can book out quickly in the summer season, and service vehicles). Most people move around by bicycle, scooter, quad bike, boat, donkeys and sea taxis. If you wish to rent bikes, scooters or quad bikes, please contact us in advance, as numbers are limited.
