Adina sits in a privileged position on the west coast of Skopelos, between the little village of Neo Klima/Elios to the south and Glossa to the north. The former, which is possible to reach by kayak from Adina, has several mini-markets, a bakery, a few tavernas and other amenities, while the latter, a charming village with whitewashed streets and a shady panoramic square, has pretty much everything you might need.
Picturesque Skopelos Town and harbour, situated in the southeast of the island, is about 35 minutes' drive away.
Skopelos island is the perfect size to explore in a week or two and offers a good range of activities. A variety of beaches are dotted all around the island's nearly 70km of coastline. Right below the villa, accessed from the bottom of the garden, is Kalives beach and there are several others within a couple of kilometres. Many of Skopelos's beaches, such as those in Skopelos Town, Panormos (with a scuba diving centre) and Limnonari are easily accessible. Others can be reached only on foot or by sea, an excellent excuse for hiring a boat for a day or two and exploring the island's gorgeous coves and bays. One bay, Agnondas (just south of Limnonari beach), is particularly picturesque, and has a little port with a few beachfront tavernas.
Skopelos is also an emerald island, and the vibrant colours, heady fragrances and cooling shade of its pine and oak woods extend all the way down to the multi-blue-hued sea. There are several good walking trails across the hilly interior, whose two main peaks, Mount Palouki and Mount Delphi rise to 546m and 681m respectively. You will come across numerous monasteries on your way, as well as some superb views and a few sleepy villages where time seems to have stood still. One walk will lead you to the chapel of Agios Ioannis, which enjoyed its five minutes of fame as one of the locations for the film Mamma Mia!
Finally, just across the water, is Skopelos's sister Sporades Island, Alonissos, and its Marine Park. Both are highly recommended and easy to get to.

From the Guest Book

We had an incredible time at Adina - everything was absolutely perfect. The location, the villa, the surrounding area, and especially the amazing staff - like angels to us - made our stay unforgettable. The hospitality and service were impeccable - I’ve never experienced such excellent organization of all our needs on any other vacation. I cannot emphasize enough how happy we are and how much we loved Adina, The Thinking Traveller, and the entire team. We will definitely book with The Thinking Traveller again, and next time for even longer - perhaps at Adina or another wonderful option. Thank you so much for creating these lasting memories for all of us.

Adina is a unique property. It is utterly gorgeous and delivered all the requirements we had: six en-suite bathrooms; heated pool; direct access to private beach; amazing staff; and air conditioning in the entire house. We were not disappointed, and the pictures on the website do not do the property justice.

We have rented plenty of top villas around the world - and Adina is one of the best. Great location with beach access, high quality fittings and equipment. Clean and beautifully designed. Fab views. The in-villa cook was outstanding and a super person.

Adina is a remarkable villa. We had a stay we will never forget that exceeded our very high expectations. The location is fantastic. The access to the sea is both beautiful and easy. There are so many small features that are well thought through including effective net solutions that allow fresh air whilst protecting from insects. The furniture, fittings and overall layout provides for a luxurious holiday with plenty of space and privacy even for a big group of people. Everything is new and well kept. The staff is locally relevant and extremely attentive. This goes for small and trivial requests and daily cleaning, laundry, etc. but it also goes for making use of the house more expansive opportunities whether TV, WiFi, kayaking, swimming, getting around the island and so on. The House Manager was an excellent cook but also a treasure trove of knowledge about the island. We enjoyed the warm, hospitable treatment we received and felt spoiled. The food served was according to our wishes, with local treatments and personally acquired local fish. This was very special for us.
