Every now and then serendipity happens, and we encounter a brand that echoes our values, shares our passions and evokes authentic Mediterranean beauty: meet ALEX AND TRAHANAS, a lifestyle store and design studio based in Sydney, Australia with whom we’re delighted to have launched a new partnership.
Enamoured with all things Mediterranean, ALEX AND TRAHANAS have a particular love of table and glassware, linens and couture. Their latest edition, a range of Puglian ceramics, has been inspired by and photographed at one of our villas, Casino Doxi Stracca, an exquisitely restored 18th-century aristocratic home with its own baroque chapel. The collection draws on traditional designs, techniques and palettes, all of which have been absorbed and reinterpreted to create lovingly crafted, hand-painted objects of desire. The result is an ode to Puglia’s convivial rituals of hospitality - cooking up feasts, adorning the table with exquisite ceramics, welcoming loved ones, and sharing long, lazy meals in dreamy al fresco settings. There is, perhaps no better expression of la dolce vita.
