NB: A double-twin bedroom has two single beds that can either be joined together to create a double bed or left separate as two single beds.

Reduced Occupancy

During the shoulder seasons, Trullo Terra Dolce has reduced prices for groups that don’t need to use all the bedrooms. The bedrooms not required will be closed, but the rest of villa, its amenities and its grounds will remain at the complete disposal of guests. Please see further detail below:

• For reduced occupancy bookings for 3 bedrooms sleeping 6: rooms 1, 3 and 4 will be prepared.
• For reduced occupancy bookings for 2 bedrooms sleeping 4: your choice of rooms 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 will be prepared.

Inside

accommodation at Trullo Terra Dolce is spread over three independently accessed houses, which, whilst resembling a single building from the outside, are not connected internally.

The main house is nearest to the pool and has a comfortable open-plan living and dining room with large glass doors offering stunning views over the gardens and pool, a well-equipped kitchen, also with garden access, one double bedroom with an alcove bed and an en-suite bathroom with tub and rainfall shower, a study, and a second bathroom.

The middle of the three houses is a classic trullo and is home to a double bedroom (with bed in an alcove) and an en-suite shower room.

The third house, furthest from the pool, comprises two bedrooms, a double and a double-twin, and two shower rooms (of which one en-suite), a living room with access to the gardens, and an al fresco dining and lounge area, a dining room with original, decorative bread oven and a kitchen.

The properties have been beautifully restored to a very high quality and subtly brought into the 21st century: many of the original features have been retained, some fulfilling their original function, others being ingeniously put to other uses.

a. if you need 2 bedrooms, you may choose either the main house and the trullo or the 2-bedroom house
b. if you need 3 bedrooms, you will be accommodated in the main house and the 2-bedroom house

Outside

Trullo Terra Dolce is surrounded by extensive gardens and terraces with a selection of shady spots for al fresco living and dining. Green lawns alternate with paved areas and all has been planted with a large variety of colourful and fragrant Mediterranean flora. The focal point, however, is the splendid pool, from which views over the surrounding woods (accessible from the gardens) and gentle countryside are delightful.

This villa features underfloor air conditioning, a more energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional AC. It provides a gentle, consistent cooling throughout the space, though it may feel less intense than standard systems

The depth of the pool ranges from 1.2m to 2.3m.

Due to the nature of the property, which includes terraces, low walls, stairs to the roof (blocked by plants) and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.

Trullo Terra Dolce features an infinity pool, offering swimmers views while in the pool. There is a small drop off the infinity side so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more information about infinity pools.
