During the shoulder seasons, Christina has a reduced price for a group of up to 4 that only need up to 2 bedrooms. The bedroom not required will be closed, but the rest of the villa, its amenities and its grounds will remain at the complete disposal of guests. Inside
the main entrance leads into an open-concept and well-furnished kitchen, dining and living area overlooking and opening onto the pool terrace. Off this room are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with en-suite shower rooms and French windows accessing the dreamily panoramic pool terrace.A staircase leads from the kitchen up to the first floor, where there is a bright double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and not one but two panoramic terraces with views over the pool and down to the idyllic coastline and translucent waters.
Outside
the focal point of Christina is undoubtedly the superb panoramic infinity pool, which is surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace and a shaded area ideal for al fresco lounging and dining with sea views. If, after staring at the sea for a while, you wish to go for a swim in it, a 5-minute walk down through the gardens and along a quiet little road will get you there!EOT Licence No. 0831K10TK7989001
About the Area
Christina is situated above a secluded bay on the north coast of Meganissi, just a 10-minute walk from the seafront tavernas, shops and harbour of Vathi. This superb position may mean you will not wander too far from your comfortable surroundings, but should you wish to, Meganissi and its neighbouring island, Lefkada, are eminently visitable in a week.
Meganissi covers just 20 square kilometres but has plenty to offer, with numerous bays and beaches to explore, sleepy white-washed villages, such as Katomeri or Spartochori, to wander around and lots of good walking paths in the centre of the island.
The two main harbours of Vathi and Spilia are great spots for dining on fish, whiling away an hour or two with a drink in hand or setting out on one of the frequent ferries to visit other islands in the Ionian archipelago.
Considerations
Christina features an infinity pool, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pool. There is a drop off the infinity side so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more information about infinity pools.
Please note that there is no real shallow end in the pool, whose minimum depth is 1.3m.
Due to the nature of the property's gardens, including low walls and drops, children must be supervised at all times.
The number of steps that must be negotiated to get into this property might make it unsuitable for people with mobility problems.
Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.

Christina itself is amazing: the bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely; the kitchen is well-fitted-out with good appliances that work; the pool area, barbecue and the view are tremendous. We had a fantastic week's holiday. The Thinking Traveller team were so helpful and attentive, which really ensured we had the best week. Would we return? Christina’s setting and location on Meganissi would be hard to beat. The spectacular view of the bay and out to sea and its easy walking distance to the delightful and lively port of Vathi made this a very easy and truly relaxing holiday for the whole family. The villa was comfortable and the outside space super. This was a fabulous week. We fell in love with Meganissi and I’m sure we’ll be back. Christina and its location were fabulous. Exactly what we were looking for. Remote enough to feel special, with potential to explore daily and get to know the locals. Just a wonderful place to spend a holiday with friends and family. The level of service was incredible. Every time we needed something, the staff from The Thinking Traveller was right there to take care of us. They left us on our own unless we needed assistance, and then they immediately took care of our needs.
