Inside

accommodation at Villa Stella is laid out over two floors.

The main entrance leads in to the upper floor, which is the communal hub of the property.

First is the luminous, airy living room whose lofty wood-beamed ceilings, white-painted walls, sandy-hued floors and sea-blue Murano chandelier create an atmosphere of pure summery hedonism. 

To one end is a fireplace, flanked by a pair of sink-in sofas and two square windows that frame the greens of the surrounding gardens. A mirror placed above the mantelpiece reflects the sea views, and two sets of sliding glass pocket doors allow the space to flow out onto a large L-shaped terrace with glorious sea views.

The living area communicates seamlessly with a bright, well-equipped kitchen with corn-blue cabinetry (echoing the palette of the external shutters), a large marble-topped table, and marble work surfaces. Two glass doors bring in the sea views and provide access to a pair of terraces: a wonderful shaded dining terrace and the main, L-shaped terrace outside the living area.

The upper floor accommodation is completed by a guest WC located near the kitchen.

Stairs lead down from the living area to the lower floor which hosts the property's bedrooms, all accessed from a central corridor-hallway. In specific, there are: 

• three double bedrooms with sea views, direct access to the pool terrace, and en-suite shower rooms
• a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room

The lower floor also also has a little sitting room, and a shower room and a WC serving the pool.

Outside

Villa Stella's bright interiors flow outside at every opportunity, and no matter where you are in the house, you're only ever a few steps from a dreamy al fresco spot. Connected by paved steps, secluded by stone walls, and enlivened by wide variety of trees, shrubs and flowering plants, the property's multi-level terraces offer hypnotic views out across the blue sea and the islet of Panagia to the Greek mainland in the distance. 

The living room and kitchen open out onto a wide, L-shaped terrace with two distinct zones. To one side is a well-shaded dining area with a round table and chairs, while at the front is a sun-kissed sitting area furnished with sofas and easy chairs. 

The kitchen also has its very own shaded terrace, which offers a most convivial setting for al fresco dining.

The lower terrace, which is accessed directly from three of the lower-floor bedrooms (as well as the central corridor-hallway and external steps from above) is home to the irresistible zero-edge pool, which appears to float above the coastal olive trees below. Served by six sun loungers and a pair of bamboo easy chairs, it's surrounded by immaculate stone paving and offers a variety of shady and sunny spots. Once settled in here, you'll find it hard to move.

As this villa is located on an island, we recommend extra caution when booking your flights to avoid problems or delays with ferries and hydrofoils. It may be advisable to arrive a day earlier and depart a day later. Please contact us for any information or advice.

Due to the nature of the property, which includes terraces, low walls, and several drops around the grounds, we are unable to accept bookings for groups with children under the age of 12.

The number of steps that must be negotiated to get into and/or around this property might make it unsuitable for people with limited mobility.

Please note that this property is located in a residential area and therefore has neighbours.

Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.
