NB: A double-twin bedroom has two single beds that can either be joined together to create a double bed or left separate as two single beds.

Inside

accommodation at Mas de la Lune is laid out over two floors.

The main entrance leads into the upper floor and a luminous open-plan communal space that's the true hub of the home. Two walls of sliding glass doors drink in the views out to sea, while at the same time allowing seamless access to the terraces. White walls and light, sandy flooring maximise the airy atmosphere, and the furnishings are stylish and summery. This, clean-lined, bright and easy-going stylistic imprint flows throughout the property

To one side of the communal space is a sitting area with four easy chairs gathered around a pair of coffee tables and a curvaceous, hanging metal fireplace with an oval window. 

To the other side is a dining table with six cushioned rattan chairs, and a well-equipped corner kitchen with bronzed-wood cabinetry and a central island.

To the left of the main entrance, a door opens into the principal bedroom, a double-aspect double with sea views, doors opening out onto the terraces, and a serene, contemporary-styled en-suite bathroom with tub and rainfall shower.

Stairs with bannisters hewn out of driftwood lead down from the lower floor, which is home to the remaining accommodation:

• three double-twin bedrooms, each with sea views, access to a shared terrace, and an en-suite shower room
• a guest WC

Outside

Mas de la Lune's al fresco spaces have been designed to make the most of the restful views over the beaches and the blue bay of Lakka and the cobalt Ionian Sea beyond. 

The communal space and the bedroom on the upper floor open out effortlessly onto an L-shaped terrace that wraps around two sides of the house. The first part, directly outside the living area, is given over to a quartet of quality, well-cushioned sun loungers that have been positioned to make the very best of the views. 

The second part of the L incorporates the tempting, cyan-watered infinity pool, a well-shaded and secluded al fresco dining area served by a kitchen with barbecue, plancha and a sink, and a shower room and WC.

The lower floor bedrooms all open out onto a shaded terrace offering more of those fabulous views out over Lakka Bay.

Steps lead down from the lower terrace to a walled courtyard embellished by floral plumbago, where there is a table tennis table.

For the best views, head up to the roof terrace, from where sweeping, 360-degree vistas pan out over the northern tip of Paxos, the sea on both sides of the headland, and the Greek mainland in the distance.

Terraced gardens, planted with low-lying shrubs and dotted with olive trees surround the property, creating a sense of verdant seclusion.

Due to the nature of the property, which includes terraces, low walls, and several drops around the grounds, we are unable to accept bookings for groups with children under the age of 12.

Mas de la Lune features a fantastic infinity pool, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pool. There is a drop off the infinity side so we recommend care is taken. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more information about infinity pools.

The pool has a single depth of 1.5m

Due to the relatively limited number of hydrofoil/ferry connections between Corfu and Paxos in the shoulder seasons, we recommend arriving in Corfu by midday or, alternatively, adding a night in Corfu town the day before and/or after your time in Paxos.

Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.
