The Area
Aperghis overlooks the northwest coast of Paxos, a few kilometres away from the island's picturesque towns of Loggos, Lakka and Giaos, all welcoming little harbours with idyllic seafront tavernas, shops and bars. The nearest village with tavernas and shops is Magazia, which is just over 1km away. Gaios, the main port of entry to the island, has frequent boat services to Corfu and Paxos' tiny sister island, Antipaxos.
Paxos (measuring around 13km from north to south) is situated 15km south of Corfu and about 20km off the Greek mainland. It boasts some of the most stunning beaches anywhere in the Mediterranean and, as it's only accessible by ferry, has managed to remain relatively unspoilt by mass tourism.
The western seaboard of Paxos is dramatic, with cliffs, sea caves and stretches of rugged, rocky coastline, while the east coast is home to gentle sandy beaches and views of the Greek mainland. The hinterland is carpeted with olive groves, which produce some truly excellent oil.
A holiday on Paxos is all about relaxing and taking it easy, all the more so if you book one of our villas on the island.

Aperghis was simply stunning. The photos do not do it justice. It was laid-back, cool, stylish, comfortable and had every amenity we could ever imagine and more. The views were breathtaking. The garden was inspirational. There were so many comfortable places to lounge or gather outside, which was the thing we loved the most. The beds were super comfortable and every detail was considered. It was quiet, but not too far removed from everything - we could easily walk into the closest little town and grab breakfast or groceries or a beer. And we could take short drives all over the island to explore different beaches, shop and dine out. It was extraordinary, truly a special experience. We have already recommended your service to anyone who will listen.
