Reduced Occupancy
During the shoulder seasons, Remvy has a reduced price for a group of up to 8 that only need up to 4 bedrooms, and a price for a group of 6 that only need up to 3 bedrooms. The bedrooms not required will be closed, but the rest of villa, its amenities and its grounds will remain at the complete disposal of guests.About the property
Inside
accommodation at Remvy is laid out over a main house on two floors and one independent guesthouse in the grounds.The ground floor of the main house is given over to a spacious, open-concept living and dining area, which sets the scene for the property's overall design. Curvaceously edged, white walls with in-built niches and shelving seemingly sculpted in fondant icing rise to wood-beamed, cane-canopied ceilings, grey-framed windows bring in the light and the magical sea views, and classically comfortable furnishings blend harmoniously with antique wooden furniture. Most of the space is given over to a pair of easy chairs and a long sofa, to one side of which is a fireplace. To one side, ensconced in a niche looking out to sea, is the convivial dining table.
An arched opening in local stone allows this space to flow into the uniquely styled, well-equipped kitchen.
Accommodation on the ground floor is completed by a guest WC and two bedrooms:
- a double with en-suite bathroom with overhead shower
- a double-twin with an adjacent shower room and access to the delightfully secluded walled courtyard to the rear of the property
- the main bedroom, a spacious double with feature fireplace, walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom with tub and overhead shower, and a fabulously panoramic shaded sea-view terrace
- a double-twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub and overhead shower, a balcony, and a living room with sofa bed
It has a kitchen-diner and shower room ground floor and a double bedroom on the first floor.
Outside
al fresco life at Remvy is extremely well catered for, with numerous shady and sunny-kissed terraces for guests to choose from. Whether you're lounging, dining, sunbathing, or reposing with a book, there's a spot for every occasion, both for private moments and for convivial gatherings of your whole group.To the front of the main house is a series of shady terraces looking out to sea. Furnished for sitting and dining, these are ideal for get-togethers at the end of another fabulous day. Steps lead down to the wonderful pool area, which comes with a shady sitting area, a fabulous free-form infinity pool and a circular plunge pool.
Behind the main house is a dreamy, partially covered walled courtyard which offers a magically secluded environment in which to chat, recline with a book or take meals when the summer's meltemi wind blows.
Paths lead from the main house around the grounds and to the independent guesthouse.

About the Area
Remvy is situated in the north of Mykonos, just 500m and 700m from the gorgeous sandy beaches of Agios Sostis and Panormos, both of which have tavernas nearby.
Mykonos Town, with its vibrant, colourful and picturesque old centre is just 15 minutes away, and there's plenty to enjoy there, not least a great selection of tavernas, boutiques, cafés and bars.
Since it was “discovered” in the 1960s, Mykonos has become one of Greece’s most famous and cosmopolitan islands and one of the hippest destinations in Europe. It is beloved of fashionistas, celebrities and party-goers, but also attracts discerning travellers in search of a harmonious ambience in which to relax, unwind and have fun.
The island is easily explorable in a week, and offers a vibrant beach life, a great many options for water sports, wonderful views, a fabulous variety of great restaurants, and a legendary party scene. With its many bays and coves, it is also a great destination for those who enjoy spending time messing about on boats, and we warmly recommend you rent one for a day or two to discover Mykonos's gorgeous coastline.
Just across the water is the sacred island of Delos, birthplace of Apollo and Artemis and one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. Similarly close is the island of Tinos, so if island-hopping’s your thing, there are plenty of adventures awaiting you.
Considerations
Due to the nature of the property including terraces low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.
The number of steps that must be negotiated to get into and/or around this property might make it unsuitable for people with mobility problems.
Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.
