NB: A double-twin bedroom has two single beds that can either be joined together to create a double bed or left separate as two single beds.

Inside

accommodation at Pacifica is laid out over three floors.

The main entrance opens into a welcoming hallway, and from here it is but a few steps to the hub of the home, a generous, open-concept communal space that immediately sets the tone for the property's overall design. Light and views floods in through walls of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, sandy flooring unites all the spaces in one sweep, pristine white walls add to the luminous atmosphere, integrated lighting and a built-in sound system confirm the ultra-modern aesthetic, and vintage film posters hint at one of the owners' passions.

To the left is the sleek, hi-spec contemporary kitchen, which features a large central island-bar, dark grey bespoke cabinetry, high-end appliances and a wall of sliding glass doors opening out onto a secluded terrace.

In the centre of the communal space is a wooden dining table surrounded by designer chairs, and beyond this is the living area, whose trio of white sofas drink in the inspiring views out over the pool terrace and the cobalt waters of the Balou Bay.

To one side, this open space flows past a guest loo and a floating staircase leading to the first floor to the two ground floor bedrooms:

• a double bedroom with sea views, terrace access and a luxuriously finished en-suite shower room, whose shower is clad with smooth stone tesserae (a feature of all the bathrooms)
• a double-twin, also with sea views, terrace access and a luxuriously finished en-suite shower room

The fully open-plan first floor is entirely dedicated to a suite, which comprises a centrally positioned bed, a sitting area with sofa, and a walk-through wardrobe leading to an immaculate en-suite shower room with double sinks. Two walls of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open out onto a generous terrace, from where the views are sublime.

A staircase near the guest loo on the ground floor lead down to the lower floor, where there is a utility area and a dedicated cinema room with a large-screen TV and a sound system.

Outside

Pacifica's al fresco areas have been designed and finished to the same exacting standards of the interiors.

All the ground floor rooms open out onto an extensive terrace that flows along the entire façade of the property. Immediately outside the living area is a lounge area with a pair of well-cushioned sofas shaded by a slatted white structure. This section of terrace runs around the side of the house, where there is another, secluded sitting area

Following the terrace along the front of the house, one quickly arrives at the irresistible, 12m-long infinity pool, which is flanked by sun loungers, umbrellas, and a large, sink-in U-shaped sofa.

Towards the far end of the pool, meanwhile, is a shaded al fresco dining area, which comes with those serene vistas. Nearby is a pizza oven and a gas barbecue.

As already mentioned, the kitchen opens out onto a secluded terrace enclosed by low stone walls and well-stocked floral beds. A path from here leads round to one side of the house, where there is a shaded al fresco gym and shower.

Whoever claims the first-floor suite will feel spoilt when it comes to al fresco living, thanks to its large, well furnished terrace with both shady and sun-kissed spots looking out at the idyllic views.

Last, but certainly not least, paths wind down through the flourishing grounds, which have been planted with olive trees, low-lying shrubs, aromatic herbs and other Mediterranean flora, to a seafront bathing platform, which is set up with loungers and served by a shower. From here it is a short hop to the private pontoon and the glistening, blue-green waters of Balou Bay. One 1-day skippered charter on the property's VQ45 T-Top Cruiser (with pick-up and drop-off from the pontoon) per stay is included in the price (except for the fuel), and other excursions can be booked at an extra fee.

Due to the nature of the property including terraces low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.

Pacifica features a fantastic infinity pool, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pool. There is a drop off the infinity side so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more information about infinity pools.

You may also wish to know that the pool has a single depth of 1.5m.

Please note that only one sea transfer to and from Pacifica is included per booking. If extra transfers are required (friends or family joining from elsewhere or on another day), these may be arranged (depending on availability) for an extra fee.

Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.
