NB: A double-twin bedroom has two single beds that can either be joined together to create a double bed or left separate as two single beds.

Reduced Occupancy

During the shoulder seasons, Ondine has a reduced price for a group of up to 4 that only need up to 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms not required will be closed, but the rest of the villa, its amenities and its grounds will remain at the complete disposal of guests. Should you book the reduced occupancy, bedrooms 1 and 2 or bedrooms 1 and 3 will be prepared for you.

Inside

accommodation at Ondine is on two floors. The main access is into the spacious open concept living and dining area and well-equipped kitchen. Wall-length sliding glass doors in the living and dining area bring in the outside areas and offer views of the pool and the sea.

The ground floor is also home to two light and airy bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower room and a double-twin with a shower room next door. Both have direct access to the pool terrace.

On the first floor are two more bedrooms, a double and a double-twin, each with their own en-suite shower rooms and a shared balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. The double also opens onto a fully furnished, communal terrace with stunning views, which may also be accessed from the landing. All bedrooms and living area have ceiling fans as well as air-con.

Outside

sitting in around 1.25 acres of private gardens, Ondine's outside areas offer space, peace and privacy. The main terrace, directly accessed via the living and dining areas, comprises a large shaded area for al fresco meals and lounging around, and a wonderful pool overlooking the bay below.

A wide, easy path leads from this terrace through the mature gardens down to the boat-jetty where you can take out Ondine's four kayaks (two doubles and two singles), 4 SUP boards, or one of the three sailing dinghies: Topper Magno (up to 4 people), a Topper Topaz (2 people) and a Topper Taz (1 person or 2 children). The Taz is specifically for children and very easy to sail, even for a complete beginner. These dinghies and the jetty are all shared with Al Olivar, the sister-villa next door however each house has its own private boat mooring and bathing platform.

Ondine and Al Olivar are some of the few villas in the area with their own moorings, and guests who hire a boat may moor it there during their stay (please check with us to ensure it's not too big to moor here), explore the island by water and even sail to Vathi for shopping or lunch!

To one side of the villa is a second panoramic terrace complete with barbecue and al fresco dining area. The upper floor bedrooms have their own panoramic terraces - perfect for sipping a cup of coffee in the morning - and for the evening sundowner, the first floor terrace is our favourite spot.

Neighbouring houses Ondine and Al Olivar have an incredible range of watersports equipment, including sailing dinghies, kayaks and paddle boards.

You may also wish to know that the pool has a single depth of 1.5m.

Due to the nature of the property including terraces low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.

Although this property is located within walking distance of some shops and restaurants, we strongly recommend that you hire a car.

The bay below Ondine can get quite busy with boats in July and August and those who moor there are sometimes audible in the villa's outdoor areas.

Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.
