Please note that the guesthouse bedroom is smaller and of a more simple standard than the main house accommodation, and the shower room has external access only. There is no wardrobe or other hanging space for clothes in the guesthouse itself, however dedicated wardrobes are provided in the main house corridor.

NB: A double-twin bedroom has two single beds that can either be joined together to create a double bed or left separate as two single beds.

Reduced Occupancy

During the shoulder seasons, Cape Lougi has a reduced price for a group of up to 6 that only need up to 3 bedrooms. The bedroom not required will be closed, but the rest of the villa, its amenities and its grounds will remain at the complete disposal of guests. Should you book the reduced occupancy, bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 will be prepared for you.

Inside

accommodation at Cape Lougi is spread over two floors of the main villa and a poolside dependence. The main house features a large, and thanks to the four sets of French windows, luminous and panoramic open-concept living and dining area. High beamed ceilings, light colour schemes, quality furnishings and an internationally-flavoured collection of art and artefacts all make for an extremely pleasant and refined environment. Connected to this area is the fully-equipped, contemporary kitchen and, down a couple of steps, a guest bathroom.

At the far end of the living area, a hallway leads to the generously proportioned main double bedroom with a luxurious en-suite bathroom with large walk-in double shower. Boasting stunning sea views and accessing both a private balcony and the communal terrace, this bedroom really deserves the epithet 'master'.

Heading back towards the living area past a shower room, a flight of steps leads downstairs to two large double-twin bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom: one has a fabulous spa-esque sunken bath with shower, the other a walk-in shower. Both of these bedrooms feature large French windows that provide seamless access to a panoramic terrace.

Accommodation at Cape Lougi is completed by the poolhouse, which is home to a double bedroom, a small adjacent shower room and a kitchenette, both of which are accessed externally.

Outside

approaching Cape Lougi for the first time you will be struck by the breathtaking views, the majestic position and then by the charm of the local stone-clad villa and its luxuriant terraced gardens, which stretch out for around 12 acres, affording perfect privacy, peace and tranquillity. Way down below is the sparkling blue of the Ionian Sea and, in the distance, a whole host of neighbouring islands.

Terraces surround the main house and include a shady covered terrace in front of the living area and master bedroom and an outdoor kitchen, complete with a large stone barbecue and bread oven and al fresco dining area. The bedrooms on the lower level also have access to large expanse of panoramic terracing that leads directly to the pool, and a secluded solarium.

Paths crisscross the grounds through the olive groves (from which the owners make some wonderful olive oil) leading to secluded viewing points and the decked plunge pool area with its furnished pagoda.

Cape Lougi features a fantastic infinity pool, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pool. There is a drop off on the infinity side so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Although largely paved, parts of the access road to this property include some quite steep twists and turns and narrow stretches. We recommend guests rent smaller cars with high ground clearance rather than large people carriers or mini vans.

Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.
