Please note that while the double-twin rooms can be set up as a twin room with separate sheets, please note that the bedframe is a double and therefore the mattresses are still quite close together.

Accommodation at Atlas & Pleione is laid out over two houses, which are situated one above the other on the shores of Sivota Bay. Connected by a driveway, the properties come with a private 10m-long jetty that benefits from private water and shore-power facilities.

Inside

accommodation at Atlas is all on one floor.

The main entrance takes one into the social hub of the property, a good-sized open-concept space that’s home to a living area with a large L-shaped sofa and TV, a dining table, and a well-equipped modern kitchen. Soft grey concrete walls, white ceilings, and cool tiled floors are all design leitmotifs destined to reappear throughout the property, as, indeed, are the room-wide sliding glass doors, which not only drink in the hypnotic views of Sivota Bay but also create an organic flow between Atlas’ indoor and outdoor areas.

From near the living area, a door opens into the main bedroom, a sea-view double with terrace access and an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and tub.

The remaining bedrooms, a double and two double-twins, are accessed via a corridor running past a guest shower room from near the kitchen. Each one has its own marble-clad en-suite shower room, sea views, and independent access to the pool terrace.

Outside

as mentioned above, all the rooms at Atlas open out via floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors onto a sea-view terrace that extends for the full length of the property. At the centre, sitting in pride of place and flanked on its long sides by a stretch of decking and an emerald green lawn, is the irresistible 19m-long infinity pool.

To one end of the pool is a comfortably furnished shaded sitting area, while to the other is a large al fresco dining space served by a barbecue and kitchen cleverly built into a triangular stone wall.

PLEIONE

Inside

accommodation at Pleione is spread over a main house and a guesthouse, both of which are on one level. The design centres around four simple elements: clean, angular lines, pristine white walls inside and out, soothing grey floors that flow throughout, and banks of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors.

The main house is divided into two parts. The first is home to a good-sized, luminous communal space with a contemporary kitchen, a central dining table and a comfortable living area with a large L-shaped sofa. Walls of sliding glass doors bring in the views over the pool and Sivota Bay while at the same time providing effortless access to the terraces.

Behind the kitchen, a bright, window-flanked corridor provides access to the second part of the main house, which is home to three bedrooms, a double and two double-twins. Each one has its own en-suite shower room (the double's also has a tub) and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors offering sea views and access to the terraces. The first two bedrooms are divided by and access a little terrace niche, home to an olive tree and an extension of the pool.

The guesthouse is situated a few metres up the hill to one side of the main house and is rendered private by a dividing wall built from local stone. Accessed from its own terrace, it comprises an open-plan living area with dining table and kitchen corner and a lovely sea-view bedroom with en-suite shower room.

Outside

al fresco pleasures at Pleione revolve around the remarkable 22m-long, L-shaped infinity pool, part of which cuts across the terrace and appears to run into the house. In this section there is a little sunbathing island and a Jacuzzi corner. The sea-view terrace that hosts the pool runs along the entire façade of the main house.

To one end of the pool is a well-furnished sitting area looking out to sea, while to the other is a covered lounge, practically an extension of the indoors, and a large dining table served by an in-built barbecue kitchen.

The guesthouse has its own panoramic sea-view terrace, which includes a refreshing plunge pool with swimming pump and cascade.

Atlas & Pleione is a combination of two neighbouring sister villas, Pleione and Atlas.


The villa has two fantastic infinity pools, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pools. There are small drops from the infinity edges so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more information about infinity pools. You may also wish to know that the pool has a minimum depth of 1.6m.

Please note that there is no real shallow end in the pool, whose minimum depth is 2m.

Due to the nature of the property, which includes terraces, low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.

Although this property is located within walking distance of some shops and restaurants, we strongly recommend that you hire a car.

The driveway up to the higher of the two villas is short but steep, so we recommend you hire a car with decent power. There is room to park maximum two cars there.

Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.
