accommodation at Elyssia is laid out over three floors connected internally by a staircase.

The main entrance leads into the top floor, which hosts the main social hub of the property, a stylishly furnished, open-concept space organised in an L-shape. Two walls of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors drink in the glorious sea views and allow seamless access onto a wrap-around terrace. Smooth, grey flooring, white walls and ceilings, subtle, integrated lighting, and pale wooden fittings set a blueprint, which, along with the glass doors, is repeated with harmonious homogeneity throughout the property.

To one side of the L is a comfortably furnished living area with a stylish sofa and a collection of wicker easy chairs. Next to this is a dining table, which is served by a fully equipped kitchen occupying the other leg of the L. Its large, central island-bar creates a convivial space for cooking and chatting.

The middle floor of Elyssia is home to six of the property’s eight bedrooms, all of which have access to a wrap-around terrace and views either of the sea, the emerald countryside, or both:

• five double bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room
• a children’s twin bedroom that makes use of one of the double bedroom’s en-suite shower rooms

The lower floor, meanwhile, is a mix of sleeping quarters, health and wellness facilities, and relaxation. There are:

• two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, views and garden access
• a spacious living area with a large, sink-in L-shaped sofa, a TV and a kitchen corner;
• a well-equipped gym and a massage room

Outside

cocooned by Corfu’s rich, emerald greenery, and boasting glorious views of the sparkling sea and the empty mountains of southern Albania, Elyssia’s gardens, grounds and terraces are soothing, inspiring and unforgettable.

Al fresco life revolves around two main areas. The first, where you will take most of your meals and congregate for convivial moments, is the terrace accessed via the walls of sliding glass doors of the upper floor. Wrapping around two sides of the property and shaded by a cantilevered structure, it hosts a large dining table served by a barbecue, a spacious lounge area furnished with several sofas and easy chairs, and a panoramic hydromassage tub. Glass balustrades ensure that the divine views are always at their best.

The second, located some 35m above the house, is the magical, perfectly paved pool area. Here the views are arguably at their best, not least from the gorgeous, heatable, infinity pool itself. Equipped with plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas and well-cushioned, built-in seating, this most tranquil of spaces is served by a bar, a kitchen area and a WC.

All the bedrooms have access either to communal terraces (those on the middle floor) or the gardens (those on the lower floor), meaning that no matter where you are, you will always be able to live a serene indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

Due to the nature of the property, which includes terraces, low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.

Elyssia features a fantastic infinity pool, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pool. There is a drop off the infinity side so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more information about infinity pools.

The number of steps that must be negotiated to get into and around this property might make it unsuitable for people with limited mobility.

Please note that the efficacy of the pool heating, if requested (for an extra weekly fee of €1,500), can be impacted by the external temperature and weather conditions; as such as we cannot guarantee a minimum pool water temperature.

Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.
