NB: A double-twin bedroom has two single beds that can either be joined together to create a double bed or left separate as two single beds.

Reduced Occupancy

During the shoulder seasons, Calliope has reduced prices for groups of 6, sleeping in 3 bedrooms. The bedroom not required will be closed, but the rest of the villa, its amenities and its grounds will remain at the complete disposal of guests.
If unspecified, the best bedrooms will be prepared for you.

Inside

accommodation at Calliope is spread over three floors. The main entrance takes one in to the bright, voluminous open-plan living and dining area, which features a creamy-coloured Corfiot stone wall, floor-to-ceiling glass doors that bring in the sea views and offer access to the terraces and gardens, a large sofa and a dining table.

Just off the living and dining area is a well-equipped kitchen, which conveniently accesses the al fresco dining and cooking area. Another door off the living area leads to a double-twin bedroom with wonderful sea views, an en-suite shower room and French windows opening out onto the terraces.

A flight of stairs takes one up to the first floor and the main sleeping quarters comprising a main double bedroom with en-suite shower room and access to a super-panoramic sea-view terrace, and a second double, also boasting great sea views, with an adjacent shower room. Another flight of stairs leads from the first floor landing to the second floor, where, under the eaves, is a twin-double bedroom with en-suite shower room.

Outside

multiple glass doors open out onto the extensive sea-facing stone-flagged terraces that surround Calliope on two sides. The main al fresco living area is accessed down a few steps from the indoor living area and offers a shady spot from which to survey the sea views.

A built-in BBQ is conveniently located outside the kitchen, both of which serve the covered outdoor dining area, arguably the best table in town. Long convivial dinners taken here, under the stars and to the sound of the lapping sea, will last in your memory long after your return home.

A few steps further on is the large heatable pool whose surrounding terraces boast plenty of space for all your group and yet more of those stunning sea views.

Calliope is attached to another house on one side yet remains very private.

There is a sofa-bed in bedroom 4 that can be made up as an extra bed, bringing the overall capacity to 9. Available on request, at an additional charge.

The villa has resident cats, who you will likely see in the grounds. They will not, however, enter the house unless encouraged to do so.

Please note that due to the risk of wildfires, the use of fire pits and barbecues is restricted when the weather is windy or temperatures are high. This is particularly common in July and August. More information will be provided in your House Guide and via your local specialist.
