Masseria d'Estia was beautiful. We loved all the little touches and how well it was equipped. The local staff were amazing. They couldn’t do enough to be helpful and to make our stay as perfect as possible. We loved the idea of having our breakfast prepared - it was such a treat.

Masseria d'Estia was stunning and a perfect space for five couples to gather. The indoor and outdoor spaces were so inviting. The chef and the housekeepers were wonderful and enriched our experience.

Masseria d'Estia was even better than it appeared in the pictures. We were amazed by the lovely atmosphere, interior, details, all the equipment available for us travelling with kids (toys etc), and lovely staff and great service. We would love to stay there again as it was so great and really fulfilled all our needs.

Masseria d'Estia is ideally located for those who love both lazing on sandy beaches and exploring fascinating, historic towns.
The sandy beach of Marina di Ragusa is just a 10-minute drive away and there are many other beaches along the coast (including Donnalucata, Cava d'Aliga, Punta Secca and Sampieri) that are between 15 and 25 minutes' drive. The beaches in the area of Marina di Ragusa have received several consecutive "Bandiere Blu", attesting to the cleanliness of the water and their general ecological excellence.
In terms of beautiful towns oozing history, Masseria d'Estia could hardly be better placed: the UNESCO-protected Baroque pearls of Scicli, Modica, Ragusa and Noto.
Syracuse is also within easy driving distance as are the quiet beaches of the Nature Reserve at Vendicari.
Finally, for fans of Montalbano, a visit to Punta Secca, home to the Inspector's house, is a must.

A helicopter trip in Sicily over Etna and to the Aeolian Islands is a highly moving experience, enough to reduce grown men and women to tears! Book with us for a truly unforgettable addition to your Sicilian holiday.

Nero D’Avola, Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Frappato, Syrah and Moscato Bianco are just a few of the grape varieties cultivated in the Noto area, and we heartily recommend a vineyard visit during your stay. We know the right people and the most prestigious wineries in the area, and we’d be delighted to arrange a chauffeured wine tasting tour with lunch for you.

From here until the southeasternmost tip of Sicily, the coastline is an uninterrupted stretch of sandy beach, dotted with picturesque little resort towns, including Punta Secca (Inspector Montalbano's home), Marina di Ragusa, Donnalucata, Cava d'Aliga, Sampieri and Marina di Modica. The last strip, made up of several miles of dunes, is where the Allied forces landed in the 2nd World War. At the southernmost tip of Sicily is Isola Delle Correnti, offering an almost African scenario. Indeed, here we are considerably further south than Tunis.Just around the southeastern tip and heading north up the east coast, are the beaches of Marzamemi, San Lorenzo and Vendicari Nature Reserve. The reserve's salt water lagoons and varieties of flora offer the ideal habitat for a wide range of fauna, including nesting turtles and migrating flamingos.Continuing up the east coast, between Vendicari and the historic Greek town of Syracuse, are the popular sandy beaches of Marina di Noto, Calabernado, Marina di Avola, Gelsomineto, Fontane Bianche and Arenella.
