Celeste

The white house on the sea

8 Guests

Gazing out across the blue Ionian to Mount Etna rising majestically on the horizon, Celeste occupies an enviable position indeed. Its white geometric forms are softened by luxuriant wraparound gardens, which open out directly onto the shoreline, allowing guests to move from lawn-lounging to sea-swimming in just a few carefree flip-flop steps.

What stood out about Celeste was the waterfront, Mount Etna on the horizon, the beautiful garden with all types of birds singing day and night. It was the perfect relaxation venue and we had a fantastic holiday in a magical location! The Mediterranean here is almost as smooth as a lake, due to the bay-like shoreline, so we had a great time canoeing, supping and swimming, Also, cooking together, dining and wining in front of Mount Etna was a blast.

Everything was just perfect at Celeste. The location on the sea, the equipment and the cleanliness, the welcome and the weather: everything was as hoped. We would return because it is a wonderful place to extend the summer. Thank you for the best week in 2024.

Celeste was beautiful! To open the curtains and see Mount Etna from my window was incredible. All the amenities were first class - it is so nice to be able to cook in a villa which has plenty of cooking utensils etc. The rooms were nicely furnished and the toiletries a lovely touch. Thank you for the welcoming Prosecco and food - so appreciated after the journey. How to sum up our holiday? Paradise on a sun-lounger!

Celeste is situated on the coast just outside the little fishing village of Brucoli, with its shops, restaurants and bars. It is well-placed for visiting nearby Syracuse, Noto and the surrounding nature reserves such as Cassibile and Vendicari.

Slightly further afield, Taormina, Mount Etna and Ragusa are all good day trips, and a drive down to the southernmost tip of Sicily beyond Porto Palo di Capo Passero is highly recommended.
