Casa dei Gabbiani, the local support, and the surroundings were exceptional. Great owner. The view and location is fun. The provided food, spices and kitchen were great too as we wanted to cook often. Great fireplace also.

We recently spent an unforgettable vacation at the stunning Casa dei Gabbiani. It was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the elegant ambiance and style of this beautifully maintained property. The house itself was a true masterpiece - luxurious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything one could possibly desire. The location was ideal, offering both tranquility and convenience. Nestled in a peaceful area, it provided the perfect retreat, yet it was just a short distance from beautiful beaches and local towns. We enjoyed the best of both worlds—seclusion and accessibility. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the pool. Immaculately clean and with a wonderful view, it was the perfect place to relax and soak up the Sicilian sun. The entire property was incredibly well-kept, a testament to the dedication of the wonderful staff who ensured everything was perfect throughout our stay. Speaking of the staff, their support was exceptional. Always attentive and friendly, they made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their service truly elevated our experience to the next level. In summary, this was a luxurious getaway that exceeded all expectations. The combination of a beautiful house, superb location, outstanding service, and serene surroundings made for an unforgettable holiday.

Casa dei Gabbiani is a stunning villa with spectacular views and wonderful people. The grounds were spectacular and the villa was perfectly equipped with anything we needed. The outside kitchen and barbeque were fantastic. The villa housekeeper was an absolute gem, who was so nice and helpful, and the location specialist was super responsive and helped us with any queries. The preparations for our arrival were so thoughtful and kind, we had never experienced such hospitality!

Casa dei Gabbiani is situated just outside the town and port of Pozzallo. A little track in front of the house leads to the beach to the right and the commercial port to the left.
The sandy beaches of the surrounding area are amongst the most beautiful in Sicily and, apart from the one near Casa dei Gabbiani, there are many worth trying out, including the ones at Marina di Modica and Sampieri to the west, and those at Porto Palo di Capo Passero and Vendicari Nature Reserve to the east.
If you're in search of history and culture, a host of fascinating towns are within easy reach, including Scicli, Modica, Ragusa, Noto and Syracuse
And if you want to explore a little bit further still, from Pozzallo a 1hr45minute hydrofoil trip will take you to Malta's historic capital, La Valletta.

A helicopter trip in Sicily over Etna and to the Aeolian Islands is a highly moving experience, enough to reduce grown men and women to tears! Book with us for a truly unforgettable addition to your Sicilian holiday.

From here until the southeasternmost tip of Sicily, the coastline is an uninterrupted stretch of sandy beach, dotted with picturesque little resort towns, including Punta Secca (Inspector Montalbano's home), Marina di Ragusa, Donnalucata, Cava d'Aliga, Sampieri and Marina di Modica. The last strip, made up of several miles of dunes, is where the Allied forces landed in the 2nd World War. At the southernmost tip of Sicily is Isola Delle Correnti, offering an almost African scenario. Indeed, here we are considerably further south than Tunis.Just around the southeastern tip and heading north up the east coast, are the beaches of Marzamemi, San Lorenzo and Vendicari Nature Reserve. The reserve's salt water lagoons and varieties of flora offer the ideal habitat for a wide range of fauna, including nesting turtles and migrating flamingos.Continuing up the east coast, between Vendicari and the historic Greek town of Syracuse, are the popular sandy beaches of Marina di Noto, Calabernado, Marina di Avola, Gelsomineto, Fontane Bianche and Arenella.

Nero D’Avola, Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Frappato, Syrah and Moscato Bianco are just a few of the grape varieties cultivated in the Noto area, and we heartily recommend a vineyard visit during your stay. We know the right people and the most prestigious wineries in the area, and we’d be delighted to arrange a chauffeured wine tasting tour with lunch for you.
