The Area
La Sirena occupies its own headland on the east coast of Meganissi, just a few minutes' drive from idyllic Limonari beach and the little village of Katomeri, which has a couple of eateries.
Meganissi covers just 20 square kilometres but has plenty to offer, with numerous bays and beaches to explore, sleepy white-washed villages, such as Katomeri or Spartochori, to wander around and lots of good walking paths in the centre of the island.
The two main harbours of Vathi and Spartochori (both less than 15 minutes' drive) are great spots for dining on fish, whiling away an hour or two with a drink in hand or setting out on one of the frequent ferries to visit other islands in the Ionian archipelago, including Lefkada island.

La Sirena was outstandingly beautiful in itself, and its setting was perfect. It was in its own extensive grounds with amazing sea views and access to both a little cove and a platform. It was fabulous to be able to access the sea directly. It was the best and most beautiful villa ever with fantastic service from the staff and The Thinking Traveller team.
