Inside: accommodation at Don Venerando is arranged over two floors. The main entrance takes one into a bright welcoming hallway, off which the ground floor rooms flow. To the left is the large, luminous living area, whose double set of French windows both provide access to the gardens and pool and bring in the wonderful sea views. Sink-in sofas and armchairs are gathered around a fireplace and cool pietra pece flooring show off the pristine white walls. Two doors from the living area lead to a guest bathroom and, up a couple of steps, to a large, airy double-twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and access to the grounds. To the right of the entrance hall, a wide corridor connects the lovely dining room to the kitchen, whose mix of contemporary style and Sicilian tradition make for a pleasing ambience in which to whip up memorable meals. Stairs from the corridor take one to the first floor and the main sleeping quarters. Here, accessed from a corridor, there are four bedrooms: a master suite with large en-suite bathroom with tub and rainfall shower, two doubles and a double-twin, each with its own en-suite shower room. All of the first floor bedrooms boast wonderful sea views and access to a panoramic terrace that runs along the entire façade of the villa. The corridor linking the bedrooms also accesses a large terrace offering superb views of Mount Etna. Furnishings, fitting and finishes are of an excellent quality throughout, making Don Venerando a greatly appealing, high quality residence.
Outside: Don Venerando is situated in a secluded spot on the seafront of a large nursery, immersed in greenery. Guests spend most of their waking hours on the sea-facing side of the house, which is home to panoramic terraced areas, lawns and a splendid heatable pool, which is large enough for a spot of real swimming. Sunloungers flank the pool and several areas are given over to dining and relaxing with a sea view. At one side of the garden some steps lead to a path from where it is just a 180m stroll to a long pebble-stone beach and the translucent waters of the Ionian Sea. Large terraces run along both sides of the villa's first floor, affording superb views of Mount Etna to one side and the sea to the other. This latter, east-facing terrace is accessible from the four first floor bedrooms. The several hectares of nursery gardens surrounding Don Venerando are crisscrossed with a number of paths and quiet roads, perfect for anyone wishing to go for a jog or a pre-prandial stroll.
Guests staying at Don Venerando are offered reduced prices at the owners' restaurant at the Donna Carmela hotel about 2.4km away. Pick-up and drop-off may also be arranged. Guests may also make use of the hotel's spa and gym facilities on request.

Don Venerando sits amidst the vibrant greenery of a peaceful nursery, whose private roads are a pleasure to stroll or jog along. Occasionally you may see gardeners tending the plants but they will not be near the villa.
Please note that there is no real shallow end in the pool, whose minimum depth is 1.4m.
The owners' internationally acclaimed Radicepura Garden Festival takes place nearby between April and October 2019 and is highly recommended for those with an interest in horticulture.
