Detailed villa description
Inside: accommodation at Badia is spread over three comfortably furnished guesthouses surrounding and the central main villa, whose ground and lower ground floors offer ample space for gathering together. The ground floor boasts a magnificently grand open-plan living-cum-dining area with lofty wood-beamed ceilings. This space is furnished with a variety of sitting areas and dining tables, adorned with a fine collection of antiques, and equipped with a drop-down home cinema screen and a disco-quality hi-fi system. Off this is the main kitchen, where guests can cook up a feast together, and a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. For real rest and repose and a little pampering, head down to the voluminous vaulted cellar, where you will find a sauna, a second home cinema, a table tennis table, a shower room, and, the really unique feature of Badia, a small heated plunge pool with swimming pump. Heading outside and across the terraced gardens, one soon comes to the first guesthouse, Casa Verde, home to a living area with kitchenette and, down an external flights of steps, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub and shower. The second guesthouse, Casa Azzurra, has a living room, a kitchenette and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub. The third, Casa Rosa, has a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and tub, a living area and a kitchenette.
Outside: each of the three guesthouses has its own panoramic private outside seating areas, though the focal point will undoubtedly be the stunning pool which has been created to blend in as naturally as possible with the surrounding areas. Al fresco dining areas jostle for preference, views abound and silence reigns, leaving Nature to get on with her busy schedule while you take it easy.
