Detailed villa description
Inside: accommodation at L'Argentiera is on three floors. The main entrance leads into a hallway and then into the spacious, luminous open-plan living and dining area, which features large sea-view windows and glass doors opening out on to a shady loggia and the decked al fresco living and dining zone. To the right of the living area one accesses a guest WC, a shower room and a snug TV room. From near the dining table, a hallway leads to another shower room and the splendid kitchen, whose pantry-cum-prep area boasts sea views and access to the grounds. Designer furnishings, pure white walls, polished concrete floors and the occasional splash of vibrant colour exalt the light, airy atmosphere, creating an extremely refined environment.
Eleven stairs lead from the living area and from near the dining table up to the two separate wings of the first floor and second floors (each wing is a mirror image of the other and both have their own entrance from the rear gardens). On the first floor of each wing is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. A third bedroom, a suite with private sitting area and an en-suite shower room, lies in the middle and may be accessed from both wings. The rooms on the first floor face the rear of the property. Another nine stairs in each wing take one up from the first floor to the second floor, where there are two master double suites (one per wing) with private sitting areas (which can be transformed into twin bedrooms for children), en-suite shower rooms, stunning sea views and access to a super-panoramic covered loggia overlooking the sea, and two lovely sea-view double bedrooms (again one per wing), with en-suite shower rooms and access to the communal loggia. The sitting areas of the sea-view masters are furnished with sofa beds and may be used by children or teenagers if you’re taking the house for up to 18 guests. Fixtures, fittings, furnishings and the en-suite bathrooms are of an excellent quality throughout.
Outside: a driveway leads from the gate on the coast road through the grounds to the parking area at the rear of the house. From here, paths lead round the property to the main entrance and to the sea side of the house, where you will spend the vast majority of your time. The large, covered sea-view terrace, accessed via the loggia from the ground floor reception rooms, is home to an inspiring al fresco living and dining area with enchanting sea views. From here, steps lead down to the enticing infinity pool, served by a solarium, a large furnished shaded area, a kitchen and a bathroom. To the right of the pool, a few more steps take one down to a pergola, equipped for al fresco dining, a barbecue, a changing room and a raised panoramic viewing point right above the sea. Last, but most certainly not least, a path below the pool leads to the sea gate, across the rocks and to a bathing platform from which you might dive into the enticing waters of the Adriatic...
