Guests staying at Villa Camilla between 1st June and 30th August 2019 are also booking a gastronomic experience: three dinners and three breakfasts, prepared by the property's in-villa chef, Roberto Rizzo, are included*.
Born and raised in Lecce, Roberto combines Puglian traditions with innovative techniques acquired during his many years as a chef in restaurants throughout Italy. At the heart of each dish are top quality seasonal ingredients sourced from small artisan producers in the south of Salento.
For dinner, you will be able to indulge in homemade pasta (think tagliatelle, ravioli, gnocchi and orecchiette), the freshest of fish, the tastiest of meats and cheeses, and, because this is Puglia, lots of delicious vegetables.
Roberto enjoys cooking with guests, passing on his secrets, and explaining the traditions and techniques behind his recipes (which he will be happy to give you to take home).
Breakfasts include homemade jams, bread, cakes and biscuits, cereals, seasonal fruit, freshly squeezed or centrifuged fruit juices, organic, locally-produced yoghurt, and free range eggs to order.
