30-hour day-and-night sailboat charters
A fabulous way to start your holiday (before checking in at your villa) or end it (after checking out) is to spend a full 30 hours on board a skippered sail boat.
Embarking at 10:00am, you'll cruise around Lefkada and Meganissi and their neighbouring islands, stopping off to plunge into the crystalline turquoise waters for swims and snorkelling, discovering hidden caves, soaking up the sun in the cooling sea breezes, dining on board or in a seafront taverna, and spending a night in the comfortable cabins.
After a good night's sleep, rocking to the gentle rhythm of the lapping waves, you'll wake up to breakfast and continue your cruising until 4:00pm.
You'll be on a 45ft Jenneau Sun Odyssey, with three cabins (two of which are en-suite), a saloon and plenty of deck space.

Sail boat charters and courses
Enjoy sailing round the many islands scattered in the Northern part of the 'Inland sea'. Around Lefkada island you can sail as far south as Sivota, and as far North as Lefkada town. It is also possible to sail to the mainland coast which offers many charming anchorages.
Meganissi offers an enormous choice for places to stop at anchor or to explore a fishing village and buy lunch.
If you are a competent sailor you are welcome to rent one of our boats for the day. At the start of the day you will receive a full boat briefing from a Day Sail Adventures skipper, who will also pass on some local knowledge on where to go and local weather information. The boat will be yours from 9:30am to 6pm.
Skippered charters - a brilliant introduction to sailing
If you have little experience of sailing, but would like to enjoy the freedom of exploring the islands on your very own private sail boat, then a skippered charter can offer you just that and much more. Our qualified skippers will tailor the day to your requirements.
Whether you want to sit back and relax, or would like a hands on sailing experience, your skipper has the local knowledge and experience to show you the ropes and to sail you to the best places the Ionian has to offer.
Your day starts at 9:30 am (or later if you wish). You sail to one of the many beautiful bays, beaches or inlets for a mid-morning swim, before sailing off to find lunch in a taverna at midday. In the afternoon you can enjoy sailing around the islands and practice your new found sailing skills, finishing with an afternoon swim from the boat in a sheltered bay before heading back to port for 6pm. A relaxing yet active day, you can learn as much or as little as you like, and the day can move at your chosen pace.
