Our villa, La Limonaia, is along a narrow road punctuated by hidden houses behind big gates and bordered by lemon groves. Once inside there is no reason to leave. The house is owned by a photographer and designed with that continental eye that manages to combine the comfortable with the stylish. (...) There is a terrace on each side, so you can have morning coffee looking up at Mount Etna and lunch at the opposite end, gazing out to sea.
The wow factor of this villa is the 20m swimming pool, immaculately kept, with a row of wonderful gnarled olives along one side and beautiful pomegranate trees, twisted and bowed and heavily laden with ripening fruit, along the other.
